Moons
Saturn has 53 known moons with 9 awaiting confirmation- that's a total of 62 moons. Christiaan Huygens discovered the first moon known as Titan. Giovanni Domenico Cassini made the next four discoveries: Lapetus, Rhea, Dione, and Tethys. Mimas and Enceladus were discovered next by William Herschel. The next two discoveries were Hyperion and Phoebe. Many years later, Epimetheus and Janus were discovered.
